About our company

Gareth has been involved in theatre all his life and has been an active on and off stage worker for the past 18 years. Over that time he has managed to be involved in over 90 productions in various roles from director to actor to Stage crew.

In 2006 Gareth set up ION Entertainment and later that year its sister company ION Productions which was set up to produce top quality shows using professional and training actors from the North East Region.

Gareth Has also worked as Assistant Director at the Sunderland Empire Stage Experience for the past 4 years as well as acting as a freelance director and producer for various theatre groups and companies.
